We have received a fantastic response for the Associate Program and having gone through over 100 applications, we have finally selected our first batch of Voicetap Associates. Here is a short glimpse of the first few Voicetap Students Ambassadors
Our first and foremost associate – Swati Gauba is currently pursuing Post Graduate Program in Communication Management and Entrepreneurship at Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmadabad. An engineer by qualification Swati plans to launch her social enterprise in near future. With an experience of over 2 years in the IT Industry with Syntel , Swati brings in expertise on technology and finance. An initiator by nature Swati not only brings enthusiasm and industry experience to the program but also great understanding of the student community.
Shashank, the second member of the gang, is currently a 3rd yr. engg. Student @ NSIT, N.Delhi, majoring in Manufacturing process & Automation engg. A die hard Manchester United Fan, Shashank is his own words is a ” typical hostelite – movie buff- music lover -and a big foodie.” An internet addict by nature, Shashank with his Never-Give-Up attitude brings in lot of enthusiasm and energy to the team.
The most latest addition to the group – Vignesh .
Here is a short introduction in his own words =”I am prefinal collegian doing btech in IT. I am a guy to likes to hav loads of fun in life. My hobby is hangin out with friends and watching the latest movies. When it comes to technology, I love getting my hands dirty with the latest tech tools and gadgets available.. I have a passion for designing and do it at my leisure time. I firmly believe that science and technology has the potency to make the life of mankind productive and more at ease, and I want to shape my career doing the same.”
Aditya following on into the associates team,is a 3rd year Undergrad Student pursuing Computer Technology @ Priyadarshini College of Engg. (PCE as they call it ) in Nagpur. He’s more of a Techie who would submerge himself into the latest happenings from the IT Bigwigs as if that were the end of it all; without giving life a second shot…As of late he’s also been associated with the Microsoft Student Partner Programme, where he comes on terms with some of their latest Technologies & Research at hand & passes them on the Student Community by & large. Web designing and Development has always been a passion for him for quite some time now….A ” Foodie by heart ” I would love to drive my Entrepreneurial instincts into making it big someday down the lane in the IT & Hospitality sectors.
The next associate is Rishikesh B.G.
Rishikesh B.G. is a 4th year Undergraduate from BITS – Pilani,Goa Campus pursuing a B.E.(Hons.) – EEE and Msc.(Hons.) Mathematics.His areas of interest include Marketing, Finance and Management Consultancy.
Rishikesh has headed the Marketing Department (DoSM) for QUARK 2009, Annual Technical Festival and managed a team of 50 individuals in acquiring a total sponsorship amount of US 30,000$. He has founded The Wall Street Club – the Official Finance and Investment Club in campus. He is a Lifetime Fellow at Engineers for Social Impact (E4SI) and has interned as a Summer Associate at Samhita Social Ventures, an initiative of Nadathur Holdings as a part of a 5 member team in Business Development and Marketing. He has also been the Ex Vice- President of Literary and Debating Club and won several debates and literary activities in College Festivals.More recently his team has qualified for the India Finals of the CIMA Global Business Challenge,set to be held in May 2010.
